The Indian cricket team has made us proud by winning the T20 World Cup trophy. Even though days have passed since the grand victory, the excitement continues. The celebration extended to Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s sangeet ceremony, where Nita Ambani paid tribute to cricketers Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya, and Surya Kumar Yadav, who were present at the event.

At the sangeet, Nita Ambani honored Hardik Pandya, Surya Kumar Yadav, and Rohit Sharma. A video from the event shows Nita inviting the three cricketers onto the stage. As they walked up, the popular song “Lehra Do” from the Ranveer Singh starrer “83” played in the background.

When Rohit Sharma stepped on stage, Nita gave him a hug. Surya Kumar Yadav was greeted by Akash Ambani, who shook hands and hugged him before he stood next to the Indian captain. Hardik Pandya then joined the stage, receiving a big hug from Nita Ambani. Dancers with Indian flags performed, and the audience waved their hands to the song’s beats.

The star-studded sangeet ceremony of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant was attended by celebrities like Salman Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, MS Dhoni, Sakshi Dhoni, Janhvi Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, Aditya Roy Kapur, Ananya Panday, KL Rahul, Athiya Shetty, Sidharth Malhotra, and Kiara Advani.

After the sangeet, a Grah Shanti Puja will be held on July 8, followed by a celebration for the bride and groom on July 10. The couple will marry on July 12. An Ashirwad ceremony will be organized on July 13, and finally, there will be a grand wedding reception on July 14.

During India’s triumphant T20 World Cup victory celebration at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and the entire team, joined by thousands of fans, passionately sang ‘Vande Mataram’. The BCCI arranged a special event at the stadium to honor the team’s achievement. As the festivities concluded, players and fans alike took a victory lap, continuing to sing ‘Vande Mataram’ together.

It was a deeply moving moment for patriotic cricket enthusiasts to witness the Indian team and their supporters unite in singing ‘Vande Mataram’ during the T20 World Cup celebrations at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium. India’s return following their T20 World Cup victory over South Africa marked the end of a long wait for an ICC title. The team’s triumph was celebrated with a grand parade at Marine Drive, starting from Nariman Point and concluding at Wankhede Stadium, where players celebrated alongside their fans.

Rohit Sharma, the Indian captain, expressed gratitude to the enthusiastic reception from the Wankhede crowd. “Mumbai has never failed us. We received an overwhelming welcome. On behalf of the team, we extend our heartfelt thanks to the fans. I am very, very happy and relieved,” he remarked.

During Sharma’s speech, the crowd erupted in cheers when he praised Hardik Pandya for his outstanding performance in the T20 World Cup final in Barbados. “Hats off to him for bowling that crucial last over. No matter the required runs, bowling that over always carries immense pressure. Kudos to him,” Sharma added, prompting chants of “Hardik! Hardik!” from the audience.

India captain Rohit Sharma has invited fans to join the team for a victory parade celebrating their T20 World Cup win. The parade will start at 5 PM on Thursday, July 4. Team India will arrive in New Delhi early Thursday morning to meet with PM Narendra Modi before flying to Mumbai for the celebration at Wankhede Stadium. The final kilometer of the journey will be in an open bus.

Rohit posted on social media, saying, “We want to enjoy this special moment with all of you. So let’s celebrate this win with a victory parade at Marine Drive & Wankhede on July 4th from 5:00 PM onwards. It’s coming home.”

BCCI Secretary Jay Shah also encouraged fans to join the celebration. He wrote, “Join us for the Victory Parade honoring Team India’s World Cup win! Head to Marine Drive and Wankhede Stadium on July 4th from 5:00 PM onwards to celebrate with us! Save the date.”

Upon landing in India, the players and support staff will be honored by PM Narendra Modi and will have breakfast with him. The team will then fly to Mumbai for the open bus parade from Nariman Point to Wankhede Stadium.

Jay Shah will distribute the Rs 125 crore prize money during a special ceremony inside the stadium.

The Indian men’s cricket team, after winning the T20 World Cup in Barbados, will arrive in New Delhi early on Thursday, June 4. Air India’s special charter flight AIC24WC – Air India Champions 24 World Cup – took off at 4:50 AM local time on Wednesday, carrying the Indian players and support staff.
