During India’s triumphant T20 World Cup victory celebration at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and the entire team, joined by thousands of fans, passionately sang ‘Vande Mataram’. The BCCI arranged a special event at the stadium to honor the team’s achievement. As the festivities concluded, players and fans alike took a victory lap, continuing to sing ‘Vande Mataram’ together.

It was a deeply moving moment for patriotic cricket enthusiasts to witness the Indian team and their supporters unite in singing ‘Vande Mataram’ during the T20 World Cup celebrations at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium. India’s return following their T20 World Cup victory over South Africa marked the end of a long wait for an ICC title. The team’s triumph was celebrated with a grand parade at Marine Drive, starting from Nariman Point and concluding at Wankhede Stadium, where players celebrated alongside their fans.

Rohit Sharma, the Indian captain, expressed gratitude to the enthusiastic reception from the Wankhede crowd. “Mumbai has never failed us. We received an overwhelming welcome. On behalf of the team, we extend our heartfelt thanks to the fans. I am very, very happy and relieved,” he remarked.

During Sharma’s speech, the crowd erupted in cheers when he praised Hardik Pandya for his outstanding performance in the T20 World Cup final in Barbados. “Hats off to him for bowling that crucial last over. No matter the required runs, bowling that over always carries immense pressure. Kudos to him,” Sharma added, prompting chants of “Hardik! Hardik!” from the audience.
