The Samsung Galaxy M35 5G was launched in India on Wednesday, two months after its debut in Brazil. It features a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED display and is powered by Samsung’s own octa-core Exynos 1380 chipset. The phone includes a 50-megapixel main rear camera and Dolby Atmos speakers. It runs on Android 14 and includes Samsung’s Knox Security and NFC-based Tap & Pay features. The phone will be available for purchase later this month in three different RAM and storage options.

The Samsung Galaxy M35 5G has a 6.6-inch full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,340 pixels) Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 1,000 nits of peak brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection. It is powered by the octa-core Exynos 1380 SoC, with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage.

In addition to the new entry-level Macan EV, Porsche has launched a new 4S variant priced at Rs 1.39 crore. The Macan EV Turbo’s price has increased from Rs 1.65 crore to Rs 1.69 crore.

The entry-level model features a single rear-mounted electric motor, making it Porsche’s first rear-wheel drive SUV. This motor produces 360hp and 563Nm of torque, allowing the Macan EV to go from 0-100kph in 5.7 seconds and reach a top speed of 220kph. The mid-level Macan 4S EV has two electric motors, providing a combined 516hp (with power overboost) and 820Nm of peak torque. It accelerates from 0-100kph in 4.1 seconds and has a top speed of 240kph.

Porsche has added a new Slate Grey Neo exterior color option and optional 20-inch Macan S alloy wheels. There is also a new optional off-road design package for all models, which increases the approach angle and raises the ground clearance by 10mm.

Battery, Range, and Charging:

All three trim levels come with a 100kWh battery pack. The top-of-the-line Macan Turbo EV offers a 591km range, the Macan 4S EV has a 606km range, and the entry-level variant offers the highest range of up to 641km on a single charge. The Macan EV, based on the PPE platform, features an 800V charging system that allows up to 270kW DC charging. With a fast charger, the battery can charge from 10% to 80% in 21 minutes.

The Porsche Macan EV competes with other luxury electric SUVs like the Audi Q8 e-tron, Mercedes EQE SUV, and BMW iX. Bookings for the two new variants are open, and deliveries will start later this year.
